Machine Knitting Workshops — Geneva
Maximum 2 participants per session
Knitting machines provided
About the Workshops
I offer machine knitting workshops in very small groups (maximum two participants), conceived as focused, hands-on learning experiences with a strong emphasis on individual guidance.
These workshops are designed for participants with an existing textile practice — such as hand knitting, crochet, fashion or textile design — who wish to develop technical autonomy on the knitting machine. The focus lies on understanding the machine, working with structure and volume, shaping garments, and mastering finishing techniques.
The teaching approach combines:
-
clear technical foundations
-
practical experimentation (yarns, gauges, structures)
-
individualized support
-
project-based learning, adapted to each format
The goal is not only to learn techniques, but to understand the logic of the machine, enabling participants to confidently develop their own projects independently.
